I began climbing at a young age. I came to the still
young sport of sport climbing from the alpine classics and difficult rock
routes in 1983. Years of intensive training allowed me to reap the sweet
reward of reaching the magic number 10
the 10th degree, the highest
difficulty degree in climbing. Since 1991 I have been working as a mountain
guide in the entire Alps region, but my heart belongs to the East Dolomites
with the Drei Zinnen. Next to climbing my great love is photography.
