Circular Tour " Quattro passi, Quattro stelle" - "Four steps, four stars"

This terrific hike is for all those who get weak knees just thinking about carrying a heavy backpack all day, on this hike you only need to carry a small day pack. The rest of your baggage will travel parallel with us along the valley bottom and will be waiting for you in your Hotel room. We place a lot of importance on a fine accommodations and atmosphere as well as culinary delights this week. "Four Steps" signifies short hiking stages, and "Four Stars" represents the four star accommodations. This circular tour takes us through the bizarre area around the Drei Zinnen.

Program:

Sunday: Greeting in the Weißen Rössl Hotel in Innichen and a discussion of the coming week.

Monday: The Helm Gondola will bring us up to 2000 m and the start of the Karnischen High Path which we will follow to Kreuzberg Pass. Tonight we stay in the Kreuzberg Hotel.

Tuesday: We walk over the Rotwand Fields over which tower the powerful walls of the Rotwand (Redwall) and continue down into the Fischlein Valley where we'll stay at the Sport Hotel.

Wednesday: The tour goes through the Fischlein and Altenstein Valleys to the Drei Zinnen Hut, past the Zinnen north faces and down into the Rienz Valley. Home tonight is the Santer Hotel.

Thursday: We follow the Friedens Path to hike the Strudelkopf and descend to the Platzwiese. Quarters tonight are in a dreamy Hotel on the High Plateau.

Friday: Today the path takes us over autumn floors past Dürrenstein out the valley to Niederdorf. We overnight in the Adler Hotel and will end this week with a cozy social evening.
