Our daily program is a small selection
of tours guided in the Sexten Dolomites. We are also open to your suggestions
of where you'd like to go. Day tours are quickly and easily booked by
dropping into our office in town one or more days in advance; there you
will find weather info, tour suggestions, and important tips for an untroubled
mountain experience. MondayMonday is learning day - beginners
climbing course. Playfully and easily we'll practice knots, tying into
the rope, belaying and make our first attempt at climbing on a practice
wall that is no more than 5 meters high. Everyone can participate and
is guaranteed to have fun even if they harbor no ambitions of becoming
a daring die hard climber. For adults and kids a great change for building
more confidence. Equipment is provided free of charge by the climbing
school. Start time is 8:00am every Monday at the Mountain-Guide Office. |

Wednesday The Grosse Zinne -The Big Peak-.
Just a dream mountain for a few elite? A resounding no is the answer to
this question! The normal route up the Grosse Zinne is a light climbing
tour that requires only a Mountain-Guide and your enthusiasm. The view
from 3000 meters is indescribable, an experience that will never be forgotten!
There will only be two people to a guide on these excursions. Our Mountain
-Guides know this mountain inside and out after more than 300 times up
and down it
it is this experience, security and confidence you'll
feel when you are traveling with them. It takes about 30 driving minutes
to reach the Aronzo Hut, an hour of non-strenuous hiking to the beginning
of the route. 450 vertical meters of light climbing brings you to the
top of the peak. Any equipment you're missing will be supplied by the
Mountain-Guide. Start time and meeting place to be agreed upon by you
and your guide at the Mountain-Guide Office. |

Thursday"Alpini track"
.
this name is synonymous with Emperor's soldiers, history, and unbelievable
efforts of a murderous war, stretched out needlessly despite the wear
and tear on both sides. This historical climbing track runs over the "Salvezzaband"
and served as a fast connection between Sentinella and Giralbajoch during
the First World War. Many of the once steep passages have been toned down
thus rendering them passable, and what remains are the incredible breathtaking
views in the wild fissured mountain landscape of the Sexten Dolomites.
This is a superlative of climbing tracks. Everyone with a base condition
for a 5 - 6 hour hike can take part. We meet at 6:00am in the Dolomitenhof
Parkinglot. |

Friday" Cinque Torri - Five Peaks"
Cortina is a mekka for Dolomite lovers. This dream region provides fantastic
routes for every level of ability. The rock face is compact, the routes
well secured; the only drawback is that the hordes of climbers who know
and appreciate this area flock there in the summer. Because we know the
area so well, we are able to work around the mainstream traffic. We will
choose our route at the site, as they are all beautiful. Meeting place
is the Mountain-Guide Office at 7:30 am. |
